I loved this post! I'm also a fill-the-silence kind of anxious, which usually ends with me feeling overstimulated and overwhelmed whomp whomp. So I hope you don't mind if I join you on this pursuit of boredom :)

I wholeheartedly agree. Lately, since deleting social media from my phone, I've often found myself sitting in my room, noticing things I forgot to notice before. I remember as a little girl, I used to love being in my room alone. With endless possibility to explore my thoughts and creativity. It is not nearly as comfortable as an adult now to embrace the silence and stillness. But its a muscle I am trying to retrain.
